YULIS HAMIDY.Perumahan tipe 36 memiliki keterbatasan lahan untuk dibangun. Bahkan banyak ditemukan bak penampung tinja dan sumur antara rumah yang bertetangga saling berdekatan. Perpaduan 2 kondisi itu membuat air sumur warga mudah terkontaminasi bakteri dari bak penampung tinja yang meresap ke air tanah lalu masuk ke dalam sumur. Risiko pencemaran yang sangat tinggi berupa pencemaran fisik, kimia maupun biologis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kelayakan konsumsi air sumur, menganalisis pengaruh jarak bak penampung tinja terhadap kelayakan air sumur, menganalisis pengaruh jenis tanah terhadap kelayakan air sumur rumah tipe 36 di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain potong silang (cross sectional). Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan kelayakan konsumsi air sumur pada perumahan tipe 36 di Kota Pekanbaru pada parameter warna dan bau telah memenuhi syarat baku mutu, parameter kekeruhan hanya Kecamatan Rumbai yang melebihi baku mutu, parameter Escherichia coli atau total coliform melebihi standar baku mutu, parameter pH memiliki air asam tidak mencapai baku mutu sedangkan parameter besi (Fe), mangan (Mn) dan kesadahan (CaCo3) di bawah baku mutu. Pengaruh jarak bak penampung tinja dengan kelayakan air sumur perumahan tipe 36 di Kota Pekanbaru yaitu pada parameter Escherichia coli atau total coliform dengan menggunakan uji chi-square memiliki korelasi atau hubungan yang saling mempengaruhi ≤ 0.05, sedangkan parameter yang lainnya tidak saling mempengaruhi yaitu ≥ 0.05. Pengaruh jenis tanah yang terdapat pada kelayakan air sumur perumahan tipe 36 di Kota Pekanbaru yaitu pada parameter Escherichia coli dengan menggunakan uji chi-square memiiki korelasi atau hubungan yang saling mempengaruhi ≤ 0.05, sedangkan parameter yang lainnya tidak saling mempengaruhi yaitu ≥ 0.05. Kesimpulan kelayakan air sumur perumahan tipe 36 di Kota Pekanbaru ditinjau dari aspek kualitas parameter fisik, biologi, kimia, berhubungan dengan pengaruh jarak dan jenis tanah air sumur terhadap bak penampung tinja. Jarak bak penampung tinja minimal 11 meter dan tanah tempat air sumur harus diperhatikan agar tidak merembes dari bak penampung tinja ke air sumur.Kata Kunci: Kelayakan air sumur, PerumahanABSTRACTRAHMADEGA HERTISA (1510244059), Study of feafisibility consumption properness in type 36 housing in Pekanbaru. Leaded by : NOFRIZAL, and M. YULIS HAMIDY.Housing type 36 has limited land to be built. Indeedthere are so many tubs of faeces and wells found between neighboring houses near each other. Combination of 2 conditions that make the water wells citizens easily contaminated bacteria from the tub of fecal matter that seep into the ground water and then spread into the well. The risks of pollution are very high in the form of physical, chemical and biological pollution. The purpose of this study is to analyze well water consumption properness, to analyze the effect of length septic tank to well water properness, and to analyzethe effect of soil type to well water consumption properness of type 36 housing in Pekanbaru. The method of this study is quantitative with cross sectional. The result showed that well water consumption in type 36 housing in Pekanbaru on color and odor parameter filled quality standard requirement, only in Rumbai sub-districtthe turbidity parameter exceed the quality standard, parameter of Escherichia coli exceed quality standard, parameter of pH have acid water which did not reach quality standard, while parameter of iron (Fe) manganese (Mn) and hardness (CaCo3) under quality standard. The effect of length septic tank to well water properness in type 36 housing Pekanbaru in parameter Escherichia coli use chi-square test have correlation interplay ≤ 0.05, whereas another parameter did not interplay that is ≥ 0.05. The effect of soil type to well water consumption properness of type 36 housing Pekanbaru in parameter Escherichia coli use chi-square test have correlation or interplay ≤ 0.05, although another parameter did not interplay that is ≥ 0.05. The conclusions is feasibility of the water of a well type 36 housing in Pekanbaru in terms of improving the quality of physical parameter, biology, chemical, relating to the influence of distance and the type of land the water of a well against a septic tank. So the distance a septic tank at least 11 meters and the ground where the water of a well must be considered so that they do not seep out of a septic tank to the water of a well.Key words: Feasibility, Well water, Properties
