- This research aims at developing the product of interactive media based macromedia-flash for basic reading writing learning with interactive approach to be implemented in poor regions of Surakarta. The research method is research and development method (R&D). The data analysis technique used is interactive model which consists of reducing data, exposing data, and drawing conclusion. The result of the research shows that: (1) the exploration stage recognized an interesting teaching media needs to be implemented in elementary school of poor regions in Surakarta and developed macromedia-flash based interactive media, (2) the development process was carried out through observation, interview, and workshop. Based on the test result, it is found that the effectiveness of interactive media with macromedia-flash can be used to improve the competence of elementary reading-writing effectively. The use of this media is sustainable over along period.
