- The objectives of this research are to improve the scores of the scientific attitudes in the pesawat sederhana learning through the use of learning cycle learning model of the students in Grade V of State Primary School Purwotomo 97, Surakarta in Academic Year 2015/2016. This research used the classroom action research with three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were teacher and the students as many as21 21 in Grade V of State Primary School Purwotomo 97, Surakarta in Academic Year 2015/2016. The data sources of the research were teacher and students. The data of the research were gathered through observation, in depth interview, and documentation. They were validated by using technique triangulation, data triangulation, and review informan. They were then analyzed by using the analytic interactive. Based on the result of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the use of learning cycle can improve the scientific attitudes on the pesawat sederhana learning of the students in Grade V of State Primary School Purwotomo 97, Surakarta in Academic Year 2015/2016.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran pesawat sederhana melalui model Learning Cycle pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Purwotomo No 97 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Purwotomo yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah trianggulasi teknik, trianggulasi sumber, dan review informan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis interaktif. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model Learning Cycle dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran pesawat sederhana siswa kelas V SD Negeri Purwotomo No 97 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2015/2016.
