- Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Sumpah Pemuda melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Inside Outside Circle pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Nguter 01 Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi sebanyak dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang mempunyai tiga komponen meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Inside Outside Circle dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Sumpah Pemuda pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Nguter 01 Sukoharjo Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the understanding of the Sumpah Pemuda by applying cooperative learning model of the Inside Outside Circle type in fifth grade students of Nguter 01 Sukoharjo Primary School in Academic Year 2014/2015. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) which namely planning, action, observation, and reflection which conducted in two cycles. The technique to collection data is test, observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique to analysis data is analysis interactive model, which consist of three components, namely data reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research that has been implemented there significant raise from precycle, cycle I, and cycle II so that can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of the Inside Outside Circle type can improve the understanding of the Sumpah Pemuda on the fifth grade of Nguter 01 Sukoharjo Primary School on Academic Year 2014/2015.
