- Abstract: The purpose of this research was to increase descriptive writing skill using cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write (TTW) type in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 3 Sragen at 2014/2015 academic year. This research was classroom action research, it conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consist of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research were the fourth grade students and teacher of SD Negeri 3 Sragen at 2014/2015 academy as many as 29 students. The technique of collecting data is interview, documentation, observation, and test. The technique to analyze data is analysis interactive model (Milles and Huberman) which consist of three components, namely data reduction, presentation of data, and taking the conclusion. Conclusion is drawn that with the application cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write (TTW) type can improve the descriptive writing skill in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sragen at 2014/ 2015 academic year. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Sragen tahun ajaran 2014/ 2015. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Sragen tahun ajaran 2014/ 2015. Jumlah siswa adalah 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan wawancara, kajian dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model Milles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Sragen tahun ajaran 2014/ 2015.
