- Abstract: The purposeof this research is to improve learning outcomes IPA on the Earth's surface at a third-grade students as well as increase the activity of students during the learning processby using cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT).This research is a form of action research that is done in class III A SD N Cengklik I Surakata.Techniques of data collection is to open interviews, observation, testing and documentation. Once the data is obtained by analyzing the data with the 3 stages stages of data reduction, data display and conclusion. Analysis refers to the process of performance indicators has been determined that if as many as 85% of the number of students that can reach values ≥ 70 then the study is considered successful.
