- Abstract: This article is the result of research which is aiming to increase the outcomes about soil types through cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Experiment of the V grade students on semester 2 of SDN Sugihan 02 in the academic year of 2012/ 2013.This form research is Classroom Action Research which using cycles model. This research consist of two cycles. Each cycle has four steps i.e planning, action, observation, and reflection. The technique that used in collecting the data where interview, direct observation, test, and documentation. The analizing data technique that used was interactive analysis. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that science learning outcomes about soil types through Cooperative Learning type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Experiment can improve the student learning outcomes of V grade students of SDN Sugihan 02 in the academic of 2012/ 2013.
