  • This article is the result of research which is aiming to increase the understanding of force concept using Cooperative Learning model of type team quiz experiment based on five graders elementary school 02 Giriroto, Ngemplak, Boyolali at in the school year of 2012/2013. This form research is research action class that consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing, observation, and reflection. Using data collection techniques interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive model according to Miles dan Huberman consists of four components, namely, data collection, data reduction, cereal offering data and conclusion. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Learning model of type Team Quiz-based experiments can improve the understanding of force concept in the V graders of elementary school 02 Giriroto in the school year of 2012/2013.
