- Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve concept comprehension of the changes in the physical environtment and their effects on land with Guided Note Taking method based multimedia. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consisted of three cycles, each cycle had two meetings. The research subject are the teacher and the fourth grade students of State Primary School of 05 Karangjati consist of 35 students. The technique of collecting the data used was documentation, observation, interview, and test. The data analyzing used was comparative descriptive, critical analysis and interactive analysis. Result of the analyzing is average score of class in before action is 45,4; in cycle I the average score improves to 66,85; in cycle II improves to 74,5; and in cycle III improves to 77,4. Based on the result, a conclusion is drawn that using the Guided Note Taking method based multimedia can improve concept comprehension of the changes in the physical environtment and their effects on land in science teaching and learning for the fourth grade students of State Primary School of 05 Karangjati, Blora in the academic year 2012/2013. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep perubahan lingkungan fisik dan pengaruhnya terhadap daratan dengan metode Guided Note Taking (GNT) berbasis multimedia. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) terdiri dari tiga siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 05 Karangjati yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif, analisis kritis dan analisis interaktif. Hasil analisis data meliputi nilai rata-rata kelas pada pratindakan sebesar 45,4; siklus I naik menjadi 66,85; siklus II naik menjadi 74,5 dan pada siklus III naik menjadi 77,4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode GNT berbasis multimedia dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep perubahan lingkungan fisik dan pengaruhnya terhadap daratan pada pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 05 Karangjati, Blora Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013.
