- Abstract: The purpose of this research was to improve the comprehension of motion objects concept by using SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intelectually) model in the tree grade students of SD Negeri Surakarta at academic academic year of 2016/2017. This From of research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, and reflection stage. Subject this research is me as a researcher, teacher and three graders of SD Negeri Surakarta academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 33 students. The data source comes from teachers, students and documents. Data collection techniques used were observation, test and interview. The validity of the data used is the content validity. Data analysis used is interactive analysis with four component that is data collecting, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that through SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visualitation, Intellectually) learning model could improve the comperehension of motion objects concept in the three grade students of SD Negeri Surakarta at academic year 2016/2017. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pemahaman konsep gerak benda melalui model pembelajaran Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intelectually pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri Surakarta tahun ajararan 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sebagai guru dan siswa kelas III SD Negeri Surakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan wawancara. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah validitas isi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisi interaktif dengan empat buah komponen yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intelectually dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep gerak benda siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas III SD Negeri Surakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017.
