- The objective of the study was to analyze the recruitment of female candidate legislativecandidates in the Golongan Karya Party, the Democratic Party, and the Justice and Unity Party ofIndonesia in the Lingga Regency of Riau Islands Province. The method used is a qualitativeapproach, in which the data collected is not a number, but the data comes from interviews,personal documents, memos and other official documents. The results showed that in selectingand assigning women candidates to the Golkar Party, the Democratic Party, and the IndonesianJustice and Unity Party prioritize women cadres sourced from party membership. These threepolitical parties have the same difficulties in the availability of women candidates candidates whowant to be nominated. The Golkar Party and the Democratic Party have the same problem in whichboth parties have female cadres but are not willing to be nominated, thus making the party takesteps to recruit women candidates from outside the party. While PKPI candidates recruitment issourced from outside the party.
