PROFIL KETERAMPILAN BERTANYA SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA NEGERI 2 BANDAR LAMPUNG

- The objectives of this research was to determine the questioning skills and the quality of the questions on biology learning of students from XI and grade XII Science SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Samples were grade students from class XI science 1, XI science 7, XI science 8, XII science 6, and XII science 7 which are consisted of 179 students that chosen by using technique simple random sampling. Qualitative data of questioning skill and quality of questions were obtained from observation and analyzed by counting the percentage and interpreted into a table criteria and strengthened by documentation. The results showed that questioning skill of students was "medium" (61,9%). Quality questions of male students and female students were “low” level of cognitive question that was (44,43%). Female students more often asking questions (34,78%) than male students (20,69%).Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keterampilan bertanya dan kualitas pertanyaan pada pembelajaran Biologi oleh siswa kelas XI IPA dan kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1, XI IPA 7, XI IPA 8, XII IPA 6 dan XII IPA 7 yang berjumlah 179 siswa dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data kualitatif berupa keterampilan bertanya dan kualitas pertanyaan yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan dianalisis dengan menghitung persentase dan diinterpretasikan ke dalam tabel kriteria serta diperkuat dengan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan bertanya siswa berkategori “sedang” (61,9%). Kualitas pertanyaan yang diajukan siswa laki-laki dan perempuan tergolong dalam pertanyan kognitif tingkat “rendah” (44,43%). Siswa perempuan lebih banyak bertanya (34,78%) dibandingkan siswa laki-laki (20,69%). Kata kunci : keterampilan bertanya, kualitas pertanyaan, pembelajaran biologi
