  • This research is aimed to increase the student’s reading comprehension by using Team Word Webbing. Team Word Webbing one of strategy that give student to work together consist of 2 until 3 student each group. The classroom action research was conducted by two cycle and each cycle consist two meetings. There are four steps in each cycle: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data collecting technique or observation, test, documentation and field note. The subject of this action research are the seventh grade students in SMPN 2 Kotagajah. This research used 32 students as object of research. The finding of the research were the students reading comprehension increase significantly. Those were significant increasing of student’s average score from the pre-test, post test I and post test II. The average of students score was increase from pre-test 57,5 to post test I 69 and finally become 82,7 on post test II. So, it can be concluded that there was significant increasing by using Team Word-Webbing of student’s reading comprehension in VII J class of SMPN 2 Kotagajah.
