- The aim of this research is to know the influence of using story map strategy on the students’ reading comprehension skiil among the eighth grade of SMP N 2 Trimurjo in the academic year of 2018/2019. This research is quantitative research. The research was conducted at the eighth grade of SMP N 2 Trimurjo that involve of 30 students as the sample. In collecting the data, used test and documentation, meanwhile the data analysis technique used t-test formulation. The final resultof data analysis showed that t-observed=3,249was higher than “t_table”=2,045in 5% and “t_table”=2,756in 1 %. Therefore, it can be inferred that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.It means that there is a positive and significant Influence Of Using Story Map Strategy On The Students’ Reading Comprehension Skill Among The Eighth Grade of SMP N 2 Trimurjo in the Academic Year of 2018/2019. The conclusion is the story map strategy is one of strategies that can be used in reading comprehension skill in eighth grade of SMP N 2 Trimurjo in academic year 2018/2019.
