- This research is motivated by the observations and experiences of researchers, that in Indonesian subject matter, especially literature there is rarely material that contains local cultural values. Local culture contains a lot of character education values that students need to emulate. At this time, the value of character education is less possessed by students, the impact can lead to a shift in the character of a student. This can be seen from several crime cases involving school students in it. The problems of this study are (1) How can the development of the content of learning teaching materials find interesting things about folklore figures based on the local wisdom of Kediri for Class VII Middle School students? (2) How does the development of the language of learning teaching materials find interesting things about folklore figures based on the local wisdom of Kediri for Class VII Middle School students? (3) How can the development of teaching material for learning materials find interesting things about folklore figures based on the local wisdom of Kediri for Class VII students? The development model used in this study is an adaptation of the Research And Development (R & D) model. The subject of this study was Grade VII students of MTsN 4 Kediri. The instrument for data collection uses questionnaire methods and interviews and data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive analysis. Conclusions from the results of this study, namely in terms of teaching material materials get an assessment score of 93%, the content aspect of teaching materials gets an assessment score of 92%, the language aspect gets an assessment score of 96%, the aspect of the assessment gets 89% and 92%. So that overall assessment states that this teaching material is suitable for use by students. Based on the conclusions of the results of this study, it is recommended: (1) students need to be introduced to objects that come from the environment around them, especially local culture. The aim is to train students' sensitivity and increase motivation and interest in learning from students. (2) Teachers are required to be observant in seeing the surrounding environment to be used as a constituent material for subjects, especially community cultures that are like the values of national character.
- Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa di dalam materi pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, terutama kesastraan jarang sekali terdapat materi yang bermuatan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Budaya lokal mengandung banyak sekali nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang perlu diteladani oleh siswa. Pada saat ini, nilai pendidikan karakter kurang dimiliki oleh siswa, dampaknya dapat menyebabkan terjadinya pergeseran karakter dari seorang siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa kasus kejahatan yang melibatkan siswa sekolah di dalamnya. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana pengembangan isi bahan ajar pembelajaran menemukan hal-hal menarik tentang tokoh cerita rakyat berbasis kearifan lokal Kediri untuk siswa SMP Kelas VII? (2) Bagaimana pengembangan bahasa bahan ajar pembelajaran menemukan hal-hal menarik tentang tokoh cerita rakyat berbasis kearifan lokal Kediri untuk siswa SMP Kelas VII? (3) Bagaimana pengembangan sajian bahan ajar pembelajaran menemukan hal-hal menarik tentang tokoh cerita rakyat berbasis kearifan lokal Kediri untuk siswa SMP Kelas VII?. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah adaptasi dari model Research And Development (R&D). subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTsN 4 Kediri. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan metode kuisioner dan interviu dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis diskriptif kualitatif. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini yaitu dari segi materi bahan ajar mendapatkan skor penilaian. 93%, segi isi bahan ajar mendapat skor penilaian 92%, segi bahasa mendapatkan skor penilaian 96%, segi sajian mendapatkan skor penilaian 89% dan 92%. Sehingga secara keseluruhan penilaian menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar ini layak dipakai oleh siswa. Berdasarkan simpulan hasil penelitian ini, direkomendasikan : (1) siswa perlu dikenalkan dengan objek-objek yang berasal dari lingkungan sekitar mereka, terutama budaya lokal. Tujuannya adalah untuk melatih kepekaan siswa dan menambah motivasi serta minat belajar dari siswa. (2) Guru dituntut jeli dalam melihat lingkungan sekitar untuk dijadikan bahan penyusun materi pelajaran, terutama budaya-budaya masyarakat yang kayak akan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa.
