  • ABSTRAKMuktiDadotE.P.N.K.2017.DevelopingTextbooksofBasicProgrammingfor10thGradersofComputerandNetworkEngineeringExpertiseinSMKNegeri11Malang.SarjanasThesisElectricalEngineeringDepartmentFacultyofEngineeringStateUniversityofMalang.Advisors(I)Dr.Ir.SyaadPatmantharaM.Pd.(II)M.ZainalArifinS.Si.M.Kom.KeywordsteachingmaterialsbasicprogrammingalgorithmThetextbookisthebookusedasthestandardreferenceonaparticularsubject.Itsexistencebecomesimportantforaneducationalinstitutionwhetherlicensedbyprivateorgovernment.TheimportanceoftheexistenceoftextbooksinsupportingthelearningprocessbecomesthemainfactorinmakingtextbooksonBasicProgrammingsubjects.BasedontheobservationsthathavebeendoneinSMKNegeri11Malangthefactorsthatencourageresearcherstodeveloptextbooksisthelackoflearningresourcesintheformofanadequatetextbookasasupporteroftheimplementationoflearning.ThisresearchanddevelopmentaimstoprovideatextbookteachingsubjectsBasicProgrammingwhichconsistsofstudenthandbooksandteacherhandbook.Thematerialdevelopedinthistextbookisasfollows(1)programmingalgorithm(2)branchingalgorithmand(3)recurrencealgorithm.ThisresearchusesresearchdesignfromSugiyono(2011).ThereasonisusedSugiyonosdevelopmentmodelbecausethestepsinSugiyonosdevelopmentmodelinaccordancewiththeobjectiveoftheproductionoftextbookproductsistotesttheeligibilityoftextbooksproducedintheprocessoflearningintheclassroom.ThestepsofdevelopmentaccordingtoSugiyono(2008297)consistsof10stepsnamely(1)potentialandproblems(2)datacollection(3)productdesign(4)designvalidation(5)designrevision(6)producttrial(7)productrevision(8)trialusage(9)productrevisionand(10)massproduction.Inthisresearchanddevelopmentdatacollectioninstrumentusedisaquestionnaireinstrumentusedasameasurementtooltodeterminewhetherthetextbookneedsrevisionorproperuseandexpectedfeedbackintheformofsuggestionsandinputsfortheprocessofimprovingtextbooks.TheresultingproductisteachingmaterialsintheformoftextbooksthatfitthecorecompetenciesandbasiccompetenciesofBasicProgrammingsubjectsfor10thgradersofvocationalschoolsComputerandNetworkEngineeringSkillsPackagesthatareinaccordancewiththe2013curriculum.Thedevelopedtextbookiseligibletouse.Thisissupportedbytheresultsofindividualtestingconductedby2reviewerswhogetapercentageof80%thenonasmalltrialconductedto10studentsget77%percentageandonfieldtrialsin50studentsgetthepercentageof86%.AftergoingthroughtherevisionandthetestresultsofthisBasicProgrammingtextbookcanbeusedforthelearningofPrimaryProgrammingclass10thgradeinsemester1atSMKNegeri11Malang.
