- ABSTRAKVireraLuisaUlfah.2017.MotifBatikDaunTembakauDesaSumberpakemKecamatanSumberjambeKabupatenJember.SkripsiJurusanSeniDanDesainFakultasSastraUniversitasNegeriMalang.Pembimbing(I)A.A.GRaiArimbawaM.Sn(II)IkeRatnawatiS.PdM.PdKataKunciMotifBatikDaunTembakauLabakoJemberKabupatenJemberterkenaldengansalahsatuprodusentembakauterbesardiIndonesia.Tembakaujugadipergunakansebagaimotifbatikyaitumotifbatikdauntembakau.BatikdauntembakauinidianggapsebagaibatikkhasJember.SalahsatuindustribatikkhasJemberyaituIndustriBatikLabakoyangterletakdiDesaSumberpakemKecamatanSumberjambeKabupatenJember.BatikLabakoinidipercayadanmenjadipilihanmasyarakatJembersejaktahun2000.UntukitupenelitiinginmengkajilebihdalamdengantujuanmendeskripsikanmotifbatikdauntembakaudiIndustriBatikLabakomeliputipenciptaanmotifdanvisualisasimotifwarnadanperubahanbentuk.Metodepenelitianmenggunakanpendekatandeskriptifdenganjeniskualitatifyangdisajikandalambentukungkapanmaupungagasanyangutuhdengancaramelihatsecaralangsungvisualisasimotifbatikdauntembakaudanprosespembuatanbatik.PengumpulandatamenggunakanteknikwawancaradanobservasisecaralangsungkepadaperajinbatikdauntembakaudiIndustriBatikLabako.Analisisdatayangdigunakandengancaradeskripsianalisisformalinterpretasidanevaluasi.Kemudianuntukmenjagakeabsahandatamenggunakantriangulasisumber.WawancaradanobservasiberlokasidiDusunKrajan1DesaSumberpakemKecamatanSumberjambeKabupatenJember.HasilpenelitianinidiperolehsimpulanmengenaimotifbatikdauntembakauyaituidepenciptaanmotifbatikinihasildariidekreativitasperajinyangmengambilidedarikeadaangeografissekitarKabupatenJember.Idetersebutkemudiandiolahdandikembangkanuntukmengubahbentukaslidarimotif.MotifyangterdapatdiIndustriBatikLabakoyaituMotifDaunTembakauCoklatMotifDaunTembakauKupu-KupuMotifDaunTembakauBatuMotifDaunTembakauMericaMotifDaunTembakauPohonPisangMotifDaunTembakauBungaKopi.Keenammotiftersebutterbentukrata-ratamenggunakanmotifutamadauntembakau.Motifpendukungyaitusulurdanisenyaitucecek-cecek.Warnayangdigunakanwarnacerahpadabagianmotifdanwarnagelappadabagianlatar.DarihasilpenelitianinidiharapkandapatmemeberimanfaatuntukbekalcalonpendidikSeniBudayadanPrakaryasehinggapendidikdapatmelibatkankekayaanmotifdaerahsetempatsebagaimaterimengajarsenibudayadisekolahsertadisarankansupayaperajineruskreatifdalammengembangkanidepenciptaanmotifagarmemperkayabudayadaerahkabupatenJember.ABSTRACTVireraLuisaUlfah.2017.ThemotifofTobaccoLeavesBatikSumberpakemvillageSumberjambeDistrictJemberRegency.ThesisDepartmentofArtandDesignFacultyofLiteratureMalangStateUniversity.Supervisor(I)A.A.GArimbawaRaiM.Sn(II)IkeRatnawatiS.PdM.PdKeywordsBatikmotifTobaccoleavesLabakoJemberJemberisfamousasoneofthelargesttobaccoproducerinIndonesia.TobaccoisalsousedasaBatikmotifnamelyTobaccoleafmotifwhichisregardedasJembertypicalbatik.OneoftheJembertypicalbatikindustryisLabakoBatikIndustrylocatedinSumberpakemvillageSumberjambeDistrictJemberRegency.LabakoBatikistrustedandbecameJemberpeopleschoicesince2000.BasedonthereasonabovetheresearcherwanttoexaminemorewidelyanddeeplybytheaimtodescribethemotifoftobaccoleavesinLabakobatikindustrythatincludethecreationofmotifandvisualizationofmotifcolorandalterationofshape.Themethodofresearchusesdescriptiveapproachwithqualitativetypethatwillbepresentednotonlyinexpressionformbutalsoanintactideabyobservingdirectlytothevisualizationoftobaccoleafmotifandtheprocessofproducingbatik.InordertocollectdatatheresearcheruseddirectinterviewandobservationtechniquestothecraftsmenortheartisansoftobaccoleafbatikinLabakoBatikIndustry.Analysisofthedatawhichtheresearcherusedisbydescriptionmethodeformalanalysisinterpretationandevaluation.Afterwardtomaintainthevalidityofthedatausingtriangulationsources.InterviewsandobservationsaretookplaceinKrajan1SumberpakemVillageSumberjambeDistrictJemberRedency.TheresultsofthisresearchabouttobaccoleafmotifareobtainedtheconclusionthatthiscreationideaofbatikmotifisastheresultofcraftsmenscreativityideaswhotooktheideafromthegeographicalsituationaroundJember.Thenthatideawasprocessedanddevelopedtoaltertheoriginalformofthemotif.AmotifthatfoundinLabakoBatikIndustrynamelythebrownTobaccoLeafmotifButterflytobaccoleafmotifStoneTobaccoleafmotifMericaTobaccoLeafmotifBananaTreeTobaccoleafmotifcoffeeflowerTobaccoLeafMotif.Thesixthmotiveswereformedusingmajortobaccoleafeveragely.Thesupportedmotivesthatarespiralingandisennamelycecek-cecek.Thecolorsusedarethebrightcolorsonthemotifpartanddarkcolorsinthebackground.TheresultsoftheseresearchesareexpectedtogivebenefitforlunchprospectiveeducatorsorteachersofArtsandcraftssothatteachersoreducatorswillbeabletoinvolvethelocalmotifrichnessasamatterofteachingartandcultureatschoolandsuggestedtheartisanstobecreativeindevelopingtheircreativeideainordertoenrichthelocalcultureofJemberregency.
