- This research aims to test the impact of transformational leadership to the effective occupational commitment anda teaching performance. This research used population method (sensus) with 70 Teachers in SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo as the responden. This research use path analysis. Based on the research, the elements of transformational leadership are strongly influence teaching performance, directly and indirectly through affective occupational commitment. For this school, headmaster must be someone who has transformational leadership style; in order to raise teaching performance and build teacher’s affective commitment in their job.
- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen afektif pekerjaan dan kinerja mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian populasi (sensus) dengan responden guru di SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo yaitu sejumlah 70 orang. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur (path analysis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, elemen-elemen kepemiminan transformasional sangat kuat mempengaruhi kinerja mengajar baik secara langsung maupun melalui komitmen afektif pekerjaan, sehingga sekolah ini perlu pemimpin yang memiliki kepemimpinan transformasional untuk meningkatkan kinerja mengajar serta menumbuhkan komitmen afektif guru dalam pekerjaannya.
