- Analysis of optimization of activities carried out based on the characteristics of the salt farmers the potential of an area . This study aims to : 1 ) Identify the performance potential of the farming community of economic activity in coastal salt mining , 2) Determine the internal environment and economic activity ekstrnal salt farmers from upstream to downstream in the coastal area of the sub-district mining, 3 ) Knowing policy strategy which is able to optimize the economic activity in coastal fishing communities . Based on the analysis of the optimization study of the activity of the salt farmers through the upstream downstream approach in coastal areas Mining subdistrict Pajarakan can be concluded : Farmers salt in the process of making salt use way very simple , namely evaporate sea water in the plot saltworks with solar energy without touching any technology , so even if the raw material is abundant but the salinity and dissolved pollutants are very diverse , in addition to the area saltworks scattered and narrow land ownership by the people . To prevent these conditions, the salt farmers of the people in the process of making thereof suggested by GEO MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY
