- Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi (PPAK) is an advance education program that a first degree accounting graduate student has to take in order to be a public accountant. Student’s interest in the program is influenced by many factors which are: careers motivation, quality motivation and economic motivation. Based on the facts, a research is made to determine what motivation do Tarumanagara University accounting students have in taking this second level accounting study program. The research reveals that quality and career motivation have significantly motivated students in taking program, whereas economic motivation doesn’t give much influence on their study preference.
