- The existence of the village are nominally recognized in Law Number 32 Year 2004 on Regional Government and Government Regulation No. 72 Year 2005 on the village. Under the provisions of this village as a whole given the understanding that the law society has boundaries that are authorized to manage and take care of the interests of the local community, based on the origin and local customs that are recognized and respected in the system of government of the Republic of Indonesia. With the position of the village has a very important role in supporting the success of the national government at large. The village became the frontline in reaching the success of all the affairs and programs of the Government. Then it becomes very logical that rural development is a top priority for the success of national development.Keywords: village, governance, development
