- Trafic jam is part of multiple diverse problems in the city which is connected to each other. Trafic jam in Bandar Lampung City is one of significant problem which must be solved, especially there is a density of main road in the central of the city, Therefore government itself need amelioration to solve this problem. This research purpose is to describe root of problems which become the main cause of trafic jam in Bandar Lampung City, to know what strategy which has been done by Transportation Department to solve trafic jam in Bandar Lampung City, to analyze implementation of the strategy, and to identify factors which become an obstacle to solve trafic jam in Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative approach. The data collected by using depth interview, documentation and observation.Keyword: Trafic Jam, Strategy implementation
