- RIS PNPM is a revitalization of rural area development through rural infrastructure improvement. It is aimed at eradicating poverty by improving rural infrastructure as part of efford to stimulate improvement on level of life of community in backward area. Located in district of Kedondong, this study used the qualitative methods with focus discussion group approach. Data were collected by interviewing 5 informan whom were determined with way of purposive sampling. Tis study come to conslusion that program of RIS PNPM has run well since planning untill implementation. Rural community has accepted and they are already so able to identify local problems. This development is enable to find out the number of poverty enclaves at each location. Key Word: poverty, rural, development
