- The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the head leadership has on development planning with quatitative research using instruments, validity, and reliabity tests, while data analysis uses simple regression analysis techniques. From the problems that occur due to the Village Government in this case the Village Head often overlaps in decision making. Which resulted in the village development program created and compiled by the Village Heads and Village Devices then carried out by the community often running on their own or not integrated. This problem is coused, among others, by the weak leadership of the village head, such as the lack of coordination between the village head and the community. However, it needs to be realized that development is an evolutionary process, in wich the people really hope that the Village Government can develop a plan for village development programs so that the objectives, targets, budget or implementation and delivery times can be effective.Keywords : Leadership and Development Planning
