- Economic Empowerment of Fishermen's Community in Wosia Village, Central Tobelo District, North Halmahera The fishing community is part of a community group living in coastal areas. In general, they are underdeveloped community groups at the lowest level, both left behind economically, socially, and culturally. Economic empowerment of fishing communities in the village of Wosia, Central Tobelo Subdistrict North Halmahera Regency still faces problems such as providing services to fishing communities, in terms of providing assistance for fishermen's needs so far it is not on target fishermen communities still face poverty due to assistance provided by the Fisheries Service. said to have not been evenly distributed and succeeded according to the expectations of the fishing community. The method used in this study is from the method used, it can be described about the Economic Empowerment of Nelayanan Community in Wosia Village, Tobelo District, North Halmahera Regency. The results showed that the economic empowerment of fishermen in Wosia Village had been carried out both by the local government through the Dians of Marine and Fisheries and the Wosia village government, but the impact felt by fishermen was still not maximized in this regard to support fishermen's needs as well as proposed by fishermen groups and infrastructure owned by government assistance is still not as expected because the conditions of the material are inadequate Barrier Factors experienced by fishermen are the human resource summers owned by fishermen which are still very limited so that managing fishermen groups is not still maximal. this is needed by the government / village government and related agencies to provide assistance / awareness.Keywords: Economic Empowerment, Fishermen Society
