- The purpose of this study was to determine public participation in increasing development in North Busisingo Village, Sangkub District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. The focus of research is public participation in the decision-making process, in program implementation, in program monitoring and evaluation, and in the utilization of village development results. The research informants were the Village Head, BPD chairman, LPM Chairperson, Village PKK Chairperson, Community Leader, and members of the BusisingoUtara village community, totaling 10 people. Data collection uses interview guidelines, while the analysis technique used is the analysis of interactive models from Miles and Hubernann. The results of the study show: (1) Public participation in the stage of the decision making process is generally still low. Participation is generally only carried out by community / religious leaders, representatives of organizations / community groups. (2) Public participation in the implementation of village development programs is generally quite high. The community generally provides support and donations in the process of implementing development programs in their villages implemented by the village government. (3) Public participation in monitoring and evaluating village development programs is generally still low. Only community / religious leaders, representatives of certain organizations / community groups participated in monitoring and evaluation both informally and formally through evaluation meetings at the village level. (4) Public participation in the utilization of the results of village development programs is generally quite high where the community makes good and proper use of the results of the programs / activities that have been implemented and participates in maintaining their sustainability. What is still lacking is participation in own initiative in maintaining the results of village development. Keywords: Participation, Public, Village Development.
