- The role of the Village Consultative Body in the preparation of the APBDes plays an important role in it because the Village Consultative Body is a legislative body that is in the village and has functions in government affairs in the village in controlling, multiplying, and accommodating community aspirations, so that development programs have been designed in APBDes can be carried out, the direction of the development goals is right on target. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The research information was taken from various related elements, namely village heads, village secretaries, government officials, BPDs, communities and community leaders. Data collection used interview techniques. The analysis technique used was qualitative analysis. there is no role for the Village Consultative Body in APBDes Development because in this case there are many complaints from the village community that are not resolved. BDP in making decisions in villages is not in accordance with the interests of the people in the village, but they only take their own policies without involving the local village community.Keywords: Role of Village Consultative Body, preparation of APBDes.
