- Abstract: Village Consultative Agency (BPD), as one element of the village government was formed as a vehicle for the implementation of democracy in the village have shown an important role in supporting the realization of village governance is good governance.This research has several objectives, namely to describe the performance of the Village Consultative Agency, Village Regulation-making process, and the usefulness of this type of village regulations. This type of research used in this study is qualitative research and describe what happens in the field and explain the Village Consultative Board and the Village pemeritah both in the manufacturing process and the type of village regulations village regulations generated. The results showed that the performance of the Village Consultative Agency (BPD) in the village of Macanan not fully well. This is evident from the results of the field work rulemaking process that is still dominated by the village chief in the formation of village regulations, lack of morale BPD members in decision-making, the kind of regulations made largely formed Village Regulation Act based commands. it would be nice to regulation based on social conditions, culture to be updated considering the needs of the community that there is a new village regulations to support the existence of more fundamental social change arrives. various meetings for the creation of good governance at the local government level in Macanan Village. Abstrak: Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD), sebagai salah satu unsur penyelenggara Pemerintahan Desa terbentuk sebagai wahana pelaksanaan demokrasi di Desa telah menunjukkan serta mendukung perwujudan tata penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa yang baik. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis Kinerja Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) di Desa Macanan dalam menampung dan menyalurkan aspirasi, Proses penyusunan Peraturan Desa, dan hasil dari jenis Peraturan Desa baik output maupun out-come. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif serta menggunakan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Kinerja Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) dalam Proses penyusunan Peraturan Desa kurang maximal. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil kerja dibidang pada proses pembuatan peraturan yang masih didominasi oleh Kepala Desa. Sehingga BPD dapat dikatakan hanya sebagai alat formalitas belaka unutk menyusun peraturan Desa serta kurangnya semangat kerja anggota BPD dalam pengambilan keputusan dapat dilihat pada pelimpahan keputusan oleh ketua BPD, jenis peraturan yang dibuat sebagian besar hanya Peraturan Desa yang dibentuk berdasar perintah Undang-undang yaitu Peraturan Desa Nomor 1 Tahun 2010 Tentang APB-Desa dan Peraturan Desa Nomor 3 Tahun 2010 Tentang Susunan Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Pemerintahan Sebaiknya pada Peraturan yang berdasar pada kondisi Sosial, Budaya untuk diperbarui mengingat kebutuhan masyarakat akan adanya Peraturan Desa yang baru guna menunjang akan adanya perubahan sosial yang lebih mendasar demi terciptanya prinsip good governance di tataran pemerintahan lokal di Desa Macanan.
