- This research was conducted to determine the effect of Jigsaw cooperative learning model and reciprocal learning model toward basic motion of lay up in basketball and to find out which model is better to increase the basic motion of lay-up in basketball at the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Kalianda South Lampung. This is an experimental research. The population of this research was the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Kalianda South Lampung. There were 350 students and only 60 students were taken as the sample. They were divided into 3 groups: jigsaw group, reciprocal group, and control group. The instrument used by the researcher was the assessment of basic motion of lay up in basketball, and then the data were analyzed by using ANOVA analysis technique. The results showed that: A model of learning cooperative jigsaw and reciprocals be an increase in motion the base lay up on student.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan model pembelajaran resiprokal terhadap gerak dasar lay up dalam bermain bola basket dan dari kedua model pembelajaran manakah yang lebih baik untuk meningkatkan gerak dasar lay up dalam bermain bola basket pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Kalianda Lampung Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Dengan populasi siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Kalianda Lampung Selatan sejumlah 350 orang, dan sampel diambil sebanyak 60 siswa. Sampel dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok kooperatif tipe Jigsaw, kelompok Resiprokal dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan penilaian gerak dasar lay up bola basket, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Anava. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan Resiprokal dapat meningkatkan gerak dasar lay up pada siswa.Kata kunci : kooperatif jigsaw, lay up, pengaruh, resiprokal
