- Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak mencakup dua peristiwa yang berbeda tetapi saling terkait dan sulit untuk dipisahkan.Yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik dan pengembangan yang berkaitan dengan pematangan fungsi organ.Ibu bekerja sering kali memiliki dampak pada anak mampu mandiri dan kepercayaan diri dan sosial yang baik, dampak negatif adalah ibu menjadi lebih sedikit waktu dengan anak, kasih sayang perhatian terbatas untuk anak karena ibu memiliki waktu yang lama di luar rumah.Tipe penelitian adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan subyek ibu anak berusia 1 -3 tahun dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang. Menurut tingkat pendidikan responden dalam penelitian ini diketahui sebagian besar 70% SMU, status bekerja ibu diketahui 47% dari pekerjaan terdiri dari 31,3% dari pegawai negeri dan karyawan swasta, 38,4% dari pedagang, nelayan 10%, pekerja industri 8,1%, traived 12,2%. Studi ini menemukan balita dengan status gizi baik dan gizi buruk 91%. Penilaian pengembangan 'tepat'% 57, 37% 'meragukan', menyimpang 7%. Penelitian ini memiliki cross-tab status bekerja ibu dengan status gizi balita, berat badan / umur: 4 orang kekurangan gizi, pada ibu yang bekerja dan status gizi kurang 3 orang,. Hasil uji statistik dengan Fischer tepat menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan p = 0.474 (p> 0,05). Status crosstab bekerja ibu dengan status gizi balita, tinggi / usia: pendek 19 orang, dalam karya ibu, 14 orang pendek pada wanita yang tidak bekerja. Hasil tes pasti Fisher statistik menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan p = 0,037 (p <0,05). Status crosstab bekerja ibu dengan status gizi balita, berat badan / tinggi pada ibu yang bekerja: tiga orang kurus, Pada ibu tidak bekerja: kurus 3 orang, hasil tes tepat statistik Fisher tidak ada perbedaan p = 0.731 (p> 0,05) , Crosstab dengan status ibu bekerja pada perkembangan anak: deviasi 5, dalam karya ibu; pada ibu tidak bekerja:2 orang penyimpangan.
