PERAN KEGIATAN PRAMUKA DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DI SD N MEJING 2 AMBARKETAWANG GAMPING SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

  • ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: materi-materi dalam kegiatan pramuka yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter dan mengetahui peran kegiatan pramuka dalam membentuk karakter pada siswa Sekolah Dasar.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal Juni – September 2016 di SD N Mejing 2 Ambarketawang Gamping, Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Pembina, Kepala Sekolah, dan Siswa SD N Mejing 2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji kredibiltas dengan trianggulasi yang terdiri dari trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasi teknik.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: Materi-materi dalam kegiatan pramuka yang mengandung nilai karakter selama penelitian berlangsung ialah pembentukan regu/barung, memuat karakter religi, toleransi, disiplin, berfikir kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, komunikatif, cinta damai dan tanggung jawab. Tri Satya, memuat karakter, religious, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial. Sandi Angka, mengandung karakter kerja keras, kreatif, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan. Latihan Upacara Siaga, disiplin, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi. Permainan Siaga, mengandung karakter kreatif, kerja keras, toleransi, jujur. Pelatihan Baris-berbaris, memuat karakter jujur, disiplin, semangat kebangsaan, tanggung jawab. Sandi Kebalikan, memuat karakter kerja keras , kreatif tercermin, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan. Tali-temali, memuat karakter jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, tanggung jawab. Peran kegiatan pramuka dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar di SD N Mejing 2, melalui integrasi dalam materi-materi dan kecakapan-kecakapan yang diajarkan serta didukung oleh metode pembelajaran pramuka dan tauladan Pembina pramuka.Kata kunci: Peran Kegiatan Pramuka, membentuk karakter, SD Negeri Mejing 2.ABSTRACTThis research aims to understand about materials of pramuka program which include character values and to know about the role of pramuka program to build character of primary student.This research was conducted on june – September 2016 in primary school of Majing 2 Ambarketawang Gampning. The subject in this study is trustees, head master and student of Mejing 2 primary school. The method of collecting data is survey, interview and documentation. The method of analysis data is descriptive reduction, presentation of data and conclusion of data. The method of validity investigation data in this research used test credibility of triangulation that consists of source triangulation and technique triangulation.During the research the result of research shows materials in pramuka program contains of character values such as make group or barung, religion character, tolerance, discipline, creative, stand alone, democratic, communicative, peace love, and responsible. Tri satya contains of religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, national spirit, nationalism, environmental care, socialism. A numeric code contains of hard work character, creative, curiosity, national spirit. Rehearsal siaga ceremony contains of discipline, national spirit, nationalism, appreciate the achievement. Siaga games contains of creative character, hard work, tolerance, honesty. Lines training consist of honesty character, discipline, nationality spirit, and responsible. Opposite code consist of hard work character, creative, curiosity, national spirit. Tali- temali consist of honesty character, discipline, hard work, responsible. The role of pramuka program to build of student’s character in Mejing 2 primary school by integration in materials in qualifications that is teach. Then it is support with method of lesson pramuka program and the example character from trustees of pramuka program.Keyword : the role pramuka program, build character and mejing 2 primary school.
