- AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan prosedur penelitian yang terdiri dari 4 putaran yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi, dimana peneliti bekerjasama dengan guru kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Mergasana sebagai pelaksana tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 24 siswa terdiri dari 9 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualtitatif dengan menggunakan nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar, melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT). Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pra siklus. Sebelum dilaksanakan tindakan nilai rata-rata baru mencapai 55 dari keseluruhan siswa dengan persentase siswa yang tuntas 29%. Kemudian pada saat dilakukan tindakan siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 67,75 dengan persentase ketuntasan 50%. Kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi nilai rata-rata kelas menjadi 75,75 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 83,33%.Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar, PKn, TGT, Media Ular TanggaAbstractThis research was a classroom action research with a procedures research consists of (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection, where researchers in collaboration with 4th classroom teachers as an actor plan. Subjects were 24 students consists of 9 male and 15 female students. Data collection technique used observation and tests. Data analysis technique used descriptive quanlitative by using the average score and the percentage of completeness. The results indicated that the students achievement through the implementation of TGT learning model was increased. Student’s achievement was indicated by the increasing in the average score of the class. The improvements can be seen from the average score of pre-cycle. Before the cycle was implemented the average score reached only 55 of the total students with the percentage of students who completed 29%. Then, when the first cycle was done the average score of the class raised to 67,75 with the percentage of completeness 50%. Then, in the second cycle increased again the average score of the class into learning completeness percentage of 75,75 with 83,33%.Keywords: Achievement, Civics, TGT, Ladders Snake Media
