- The purpose of this study was todetermine the effect of Problem Based Learning model to the learning outcomes of Geography Grade X of SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2014/2015. The method used in this research was a quasi-experimental methods . The population was class X SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung with 197 students, 64 students as sample that was obtained by purposive sampling technique. Collecting the data was using the test. Analysis of the data used the test of independent samples t test. Results of data analysis obtained significant difference of average value of the gain on the class that given treated model Problem based learning and the class with speech method, which are experimental class is higher than the control class. Therefore we can conclude the learning process using a model of Problem Based Learning influenced the learning results of students in Geography learning.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi Kelas X di SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang di gunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen). Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung sebanyak 197 siswa, Jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 siswa diperoleh dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t. Hasil analisis data diperoleh adanya perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai gain pada kelas yang diberi perlakuan model Problem Based Learning dan pada kelas yang diberi perlakuan metode ceramah, dimana kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi.Kata kunci: problem based learning, hasil belajar, penerapan model pembelajaran.
