- This study aimed to obtain information about the perception of tourists visiting the attractions of Mount Dempo District of Pagar Alam Pagar Alam, South Sumatra Province Year 2013. The method used in this research was survey method.These results indicated that the perception of tourists who visited the attractions of Mount Dempo stated that 76.5% of respondents believed that attraction had a special attraction for tourists. 70% of tourists that accessibility to the location in a pretty good state. 92.5% of respondents expressed that the facilities at this attraction was adequate and complete. 80% of respondents said that security at tourist sites quite conducive,and as much as 65% gave the opinion that the means and promotion were sufficient. Based on the data in the discussion, it can be concluded the that perception of tourists who visited the attractions of Mount DempoPagar Alam sub-district South was interesting.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Objek Wisata Gunung Dempo Kecamatan Pagar Alam Kota Pagar Alam Propinsi Sumatera Selatan Tahun 2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke objek wisata Gunung Dempo menyatakan bahwa 76,5%responden berpendapat objek wisata ini memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi wisatawan.70% wistawan bahwa aksesibilitas menuju lokasi dalam keadaan cukup baik. 92,5% responden mengungkapkan fasilitas di objek wisata ini cukup memadai dan lengkap. 80% responden menyatakan bahwa keamanan di lokasi wisata cukup kondusif, dan sebanyak 65% pendapat untuk sarana dan promosi mencukupi.Berdasarkan datadalam pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan persepsi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Objek Wisata Gunung Dempo Kecamatan Pagar Alam Selatan adalah menarik.Kata kunci: objek wisata, persepsi, wisatawan.
