- This research was purposed to obtain information on the causes of the decreasing in the number of city transport Metro-Kampus route that operates in Metro City at year 2017. The research method used are descriptive explorative method. Population were 16 drivers of city transport, but just 8 drivers due to difficulties in taking the informant data. Data collection techniques used are field observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis technique used are qualitative descriptive technique. The result of research, according to city transport drivers route Metro-Kampus perception can be concluded that the increasing of private vehicle especially motorbike, the switching of society using online taxi-bike and because the majority of the campus area contains university students and students who have their own academic schedule or passenger is incidental which cause the decrease of city transport amount.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai penyebab menurunnya jumlah angkutan kota jurusan Metro-Kampus yang beroperasi di Kota Metro pada tahun 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif. Populasi berjumlah 16 orang sopir angkutan kota, namun hanya 8 sopir dikarenakan kesulitan dalam pengambilan data informan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian, menurut persepsi sopir angkot jurusan Metro-Kampus dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin bertambahnya kendaraan pribadi khususnya sepeda motor, beralihnya masyarakat menggunakan ojek online dan mayoritas daerah kampus berisi mahasiswa dan pelajar yang mempunyai jadwal akademik tersendiri atau penumpangnya bersifat insidental yang menjadi penyebab menurunnya jumlah angkot.Kata Kunci: angkutan kota, kampus, transportasi
