- This study aimed to study about the distribution of the geography teachers needs high school in Kabupaten Pesawaran Lampung Provincel 2015 .The data collection was done by means of interviews and documentation .Analysis of data and table while the .The results of the study showed that distribution of teachers geography sma in kabupaten pesawaran lampung provincial 2015 not in accordance with their needs teachers occurring in each school . To be demonstrated that the total teacher shortage geography sma as many as seven men teachers geography and excess one teachers geography .Most of educational background of teachers geography 39,1 % with back an undergraduate degree geography and 60,9 % with back non an undergraduate degree geography .A large 56.5 % are non civil servants and only 43,4 % bersetatus civil servants.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji tentang sebaran kebutuhan guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Pesawaran Provinsi Lampung tahun 2015. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisi data dengan tabel dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebaran guru geografi SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Kabupaten Pesawaran provinsi lampung tahun 2015 tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru yang terjadi di tiap sekolah. ditunjukan bahwa total kekurangan guru geografi SMA Negeri dan Swasta sebanyak 7 orang guru geografi dan kelebihan 1 orang guru geografi. Sebagian besar latar belakang pendidikan guru geografi 39,1% berlatar belakang S1 Geografi dan 60,9% berlatar belakang non S1 geografi. Sebagaian besar 56,5% berstatus non PNS dan hanya 43,4% bersetatus PNS.Kata kunci: kebutuhan guru, sebaran, SMA.
