Daftar Isi:
Kata kunci: pendapatan dan faktor pendapatan ABSTRACT The demand for organic products tends to increase, along with the increase of people’s awareness of health. Therefore farmers’ response also increases their organic products, including those in Serdang Bedagai District. Without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, the production cost and the production of organic rice was generally lower than that of in-organic rice. However, most consumers are willing to pay higher price for the organic rice, therefore farmers’ income from organic rice will be determined by the change in revenue (due to the decrease in production and the increase in the selling price) and production costs (due to the decrease in chemical fertilizers and pesticides usage). Result of the research shows that the quality and the price of organic rice was increasing from time to time. Estimation of the multiple regression shows that the organic rice productivity, the cows’ urine price, and the employees’ wages significantly influence the organic rice farmers income. However, the seedling price, manure price, organic pesticide price, and marketing cost do not have significant influence on the organic rice farmers income. Keywords: Income and Income Factor
