- Abstrak Tanaman stroberi cocok diusahakan di daerah Tanah Karo, salah satunya terdapat di desa Dolat Rayat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah usahatani stroberi di daerah penelitian dikatakan optimal atau tidak optimal. Usahatani stroberi di daerah penelitian menggunkan faktor/input produksi yang terdiri dari lahan, bibit, pupuk, tenaga kerja dan obat-obatan. Metode penentuan daerah penelitian ditentukan secara purposive (sengaja). Penentuan dan penarikan sampel dilakukan secara sensus. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data sekunder dan data primer. Metode analisis data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis fungsi produksi, yaitu regresi linier berganda dengan menganalisis apakah faktor luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, tenaga kerja dan obat-obatan mempengaruhi produksi stroberi di daerah penelitian dan metode efisiensi dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi yaitu efisiensi ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Faktor produksi lahan, bibit, pupuk, obat-obatan dan tenaga kerja di daerah penelitian mempengaruhi produksi usahatani stroberi secara serempak dan secara parsial tidak mempengaruhi dan penggunaan faktor produksi di daerah penelitian belum optimal. Kata Kunci : Efisiensi, Faktor Produksi dan Usahatani stroberi Abstract Strawberry plant match cultivated at Tanah Karo area, one of them is present in the Dolat Rayat village. The study was conducted to determine whether the strawberry farms in the research area said to be optimal or not optimal Strawberry farm in research area using factors/inputs consisting land, seed, fertilizer, labor and medicine. Methods to determine the research area determined purposive. Determination and sampling cencus conducted. Data collected in this research consisted of secondary data and primary data. Methods of data analysis were analyzed by using analysis of the production function, that is linear regression by analyzing whether the factors of land, seed, fertilizer, labor and medicine affect strawberry production in the research area and the efficiency of the method were analyzed using analysis of the efficiency of the use of production factors, namely economic efficiency. The results showed that Production factors of land, seed, fertilizer, medicine and labor in the research area affects strawberry farm production simultaneously and is partially affected and the use of factors of production in the research area is not optimal.
