- This research aims to determine the effect of jigsaw model, NHT and prior knowledge of student on the achievement of social studies. The method in this research is factorial design experiment. Hypothesis was analyzed by path analysis. The results are: jigsaw model, NHT and prior knowledge of student significantly influence the achievement of social studies, jigsaw model with the prior knowledge of student significantly influence the achievement of social studies, NHT with the prior knowledge of student significantly influence the achievement of social studies, jigsaw model significantly influence the achievement of social studies, NHT significantly influence the achievement of social studies and prior knowledge of student significantly influence the achievement of social studies at VIII grade of students of SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model jigsaw, NHT dan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap hasil belajar. Metode di dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen factorial design. Pengujian hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan path analysis diperoleh hasil: model jigsaw, model NHT dan kemampuan awal siswa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel hasil belajar IPS terpadu, model jigsaw dengan memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS terpadu, model NHT dengan memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS terpadu, model jigsaw berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel hasil belajar IPS terpadu siswa, model NHT berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel hasil belajar IPS terpadu dan kemampuan awal siswa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel hasil belajar IPS terpadu siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci : jigsaw, kemampuan awal, NHT
