- The purpose of the study was to determine the differences in learning outcomes of students who use models of Take and Give and Make A Match by considering students' prior knowledge. The method used was quasi experiment method. The population were 160 students with a sample of 78 students (2 classes). Samples were taken using cluster random sampling. Data were analyzed using two ways and analysis of variants Two Independent Samples T - Test. The research results showed that there are differences in learning outcomes using models of take and give and make a match and there is interaction between models in early learning and prior knowledge analyzed in regression or in lines. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model Take and Give dan Make A Match dengan memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperien semu. Populasi berjumlah 160 siswa dengan sampel 78 siswa (2 kelas). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Varian Dua Jalan dan T – Test Dua Sampel Independen.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model take and give dan make a match dan terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal siswa yang dianalisis secara regresi maupun secara jalur.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, kemampuan awal, make a match, take and give.
