- Electric generator that is used in microhydro power plant should have a stable speed. One important factor that effect generator speed is costumer load alteration. Electronic load controller (ELC) as long as complement load needed in microhydro power plant in order to stabilize the alteration load of generator. The function of ELC is to shift costumer’s load only when it change. ELC uses frequency censor to detect the change of costumer‘s load. This frequency censor has high linearity of voltage change as R2 = 0,9738. When there is a load change, generator voltage has deviation standard + 1,23 with unbalance percentage 0,56% in the same time generator frequency has deviation standard + 0,21 with unbalance percentage 0,41%.
