- Abstract: The purpose of this study are : (1) to describe the form of mixed code in the rubric "Ah ... Tenane" Solopos daily, (2) describe the form of code switching on the rubric "Ah ... Tenane" Solopos daily, and (3) identify the function of the use of mixed code and control code on the rubric "Ah ... Tenane" Solopos daily. This research is a qualitative descriptive study examines the phenomenon of language sociolinguistic approach. The sample of this research taken the discourse on “Ah... Tenane” rubric of Solopos edition Desember 2011 to Januari 2012. The data taken from document and informant. As result of this research are: form of code mixing on “Ah... Tenane” rubric of Solopos are (1) word; (2) phrase; (3) reduplication; (4) clause. Form of switching on“Ah... Tenane” rubric of Solopos are (1) from Javanese Ngoko to Krama; (2) from Javanese Krama to Ngoko; (3) from Indonesian to Javanese. The function of using code mixing and switching on “Ah... Tenane” rubric of Solopos are (1) to make sure about something; (2) to make enjoyable speaking because of perception change; (3) to give a respect to someone who speak with us; (4) to increase prestige; (5) matching the speaking topic happened; and (6) to show the feel and emotional situation. Keywords: language, rubric, code switching, mixed code, sociolinguistic Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk campur kode pada rubrik “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos; (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk alih kode pada rubrik “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos, dan (3) mengidentifikasi fungsi penggunaan campur kode dan alih kode pada rubrik “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengkaji fenomena kebahasaan dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah wacana pada rubrik “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos edisi Desember 2011 dan Januari 2012. Sumber data berasal dari dokumen dan informan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: bentuk campur kode pada rubrik “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos adalah: (1) kata, (2) frase, (3) reduplikasi, dan (4) klausa. Bentuk alih kode pada rubrik “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos adalah: (1) dari bahasa Jawa ngoko ke krama, (2) dari bahasa Jawa krama ke ngoko, (3) dari Indonesia ke Jawa. Fungsi alih kode dan campur kode pada “Ah...Tenane” harian Solopos adalah: (1) untuk menegaskan sesuatu, (2) untuk mengakrabkan pembicaraan karena perubahan persepsi, (3) untuk menghormati mitra tutur, (4) untuk meningkatkan prestise; (5 ) untuk menyesuaikan topik pembicaraan, dan (6) untuk menunjukkan nuansa dan situasi emosional.
