- Research has been done by one group pretest-posttest design in SMP Negeri 7 Bojonegoro,the aims of this research was to describe the learning management of leraning out comes and student response through the application of cooperative learning STAd’s type. Population of this research is student of class VIII in SMP Negeri 7 Bojonegoro and the sample is a class VIII A and VIII F.Research begins by providing pretest,then performed treatment and the last is posttest.The result showed that the management of STAD cooperative learning model scored 3.3 with a very good category.Result showed significant learning good tcount>ttable is 5,83>2,68.Student’s response to the application of cooperative learning model STAD is 63,18% said strongly agree.Based on the above results,researches suggested to property manage a classroom atmosphere that the whole matter is delivered through the implementation of STAD cooperative learning models can be understood by students.Key words:Model STAD cooperative learning and student learning outcomes.AbstrakTelah dilaksanakan penelitian dengan desain one group pre-test-post-test design di SMPN 7 Bojonegoro yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar dan respons siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 7 Bojonegoro dan sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A dan VIII F. Penelitian dimulai dengan memberikan pretest, selanjutnya dilakukan treatment kemudian dilakukan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan model pembelajaran koopertaif tipe STAD mendapat nilai 3,3 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar menunjukkan signifikan yang baik thitung>ttabel yaitu 5,83>2,68. Respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sebesar 63,18% menyatakan sangat setuju. Berdasarkan hasil di atas, peneliti menyarankan untuk mengelola suasana kelas dengan baik agar seluruh soal yang disampaikan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat dipahami oleh siswa.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan hasil belajar siswa.
