- Sukuk is one of the instruments that provides opportunity for Muslim and non-Muslim investors to invest in Indonesia. Thus, the sukuk can be used to build the nation’s economy and create public welfare. However, the opportunity above is not without challenges and obstacles, one of them in a social context, the law of SBSN is very inclusive of market segments. The investors who buy State inaugural Sukuk are dominated by the conventional institutions. One of the strategic initiatives that need to be immediately executed in an effort to optimize the chances of developing sukuk is to socialize in order to provide insight to the general public about the existence of sukuk by involving many stakeholders such as practitioners, analysts, academics, and scholars in the fild of Islamic economics.
