  • Abstract: Antenatal care is an integrated and comprehensive quality antenatal care, given to all pregnant women in health facilities include promotive, preventive as well as curative and rehabilitative. Integrated antenatal care by midwives at health centers Manado implementation less than the maximum, evidenced by the antenatal care coverage is still below target and tend to decrease. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the performance of midwives in antenatal care in an integrated health center in Manado. This type of research is observational analytic cross sectional design. Population is all midwives in health centers Manado numbered 90 people. Subject of a number of 65 people were selected by purposive sampling method. The analysis used chi-square and logistic regression. The results showed a good knowledge (75.4%), perceptions of high workload (58.5%), high motivation (53.8%) and performance of integrated antenatal care midwives in both (55.4%). Results of the bivariate analysis showed no significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.002), perception workload (p=0.001), motivation (p=0.010) with performance midwife.
