  • Abstract : One of the non-communicable diseases are a serious health problem today is hypertension called the silent killer. If the disease is not controlled, it will attack the target organs, and can cause heart attack, stroke, kidney disorder, as well as blindness. From several studies reported that uncontrolled hypertension can lead seven times greater chance of stroke, 6 times greater risk of congestive heart failure, and 3 times greater risk of heart attack. This study aims to determine the correlation between the incidence of hypertension with cardiac decompensation in Hypertension Clinic BLU. Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Manado. The study was a cross sectional study conducted on 371 samples obtained using total sampling technique. Data collection charge sheet obtained by observation techniques and analyzed using chi square test. Penelian results (chi-square test) at the level of systolic hypertension p = 0.001 (p
