- Abstrak There were 14 provinces have the obesity general prevalence higher than the national prevalence, include Gorontalo which has overweight and obesity prevalence about 26,3%. To analyze intake of saturated fatty acid and anti oxidant (vitamin A, C, and E) in obesity and non-obesity student of Nutrition Department of Gorontalo Health Polytechnic. Research design used quantitative approach with cross sectional method. Relationship between saturated fatty acid intake and anti oxidant intake (vitamin A, C, and E) with obesity and non-obesity analyzed by bivariate and multivariate test. The lowest fatty acid intake (27,60 g) found in non-obesity respondent and the highest (78,93 g) found in obesity respondent. The highest vitamin A intake found in obesity respondent (8180,10 RE) and the lowest (272,70 RE) found in non-obesity respondent. The highest vitamin C intake found in obesity respondent (97,20 mg) and the lowest (4,90 mg) found in non-obesity respondent. The highest vitamin E intake found in obesity respondent (8,60 mg) and the lowest (2,20 mg) found in non-obesity respondent. There was significant difference intake of saturated fatty acid and anti oxidant (vitamin A, C, and E) in obesity and non-obesity. There was significant relation between saturated fatty acid intake and vitamin C intake with obesity, and there was not significant relation between vitamin A and vitamin E intake with obesity.
