- Firstly, Diophantine equation was developed for integer coefficient. This article discusses the linear Diophantine equation in the form , where , and are polynomials of the polynomial ring with variables over a field . In general, we use the Gröbner bases theory, i.e. a Gröbner basis for an ideal which generated by to solve that equation. In the case we use the extended Buchberger's Algorithm to compute a Gröbner basis
