  • This study aims at determining the effectiveness of group counseling with sociodrama techniques to improve students’ social skills in junior high school students. The participant of this study were 32 students. The results of this study show that the value of Fo=132.312 while Ft=3.92 with a significance of 0.000<0.05, which means that there is a difference in the values of social skills before and after the treatment given in the experimental group and the control group; the value of Fo=97.209 while Ft=3.92 with a significance of 0.000<0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the values of social skills between the experimental group and the control group; the value of Fo = 105.478 while Ft = 3.92 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is an interaction between the values of social skills before and after given treatment in the experimental group and the control group.
