  • This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of token economy to improve student’s adversity quotient in elementary school. This research used the pre experimental approach with One Group Pretest Posttest experimental design. Subjects of this study were 10 elementary students who had low Adversity Quotient score. The data were collected through an AQ instrument that had been tested it’s validity and reliability. The analysis of the data used the non parametric statistic with Wilcoxon sign rank test. The result of hypothesis test between pretest and posttest showed p value=0,005 (0,005<0,05), so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This mean that there was some significance differences in student’s AQ score between before and after treatment was given.
